2nd. to 3rd. century A.D. Isings form: 88c.
Technique: Free blown; rounded carination; rim rounded; spiral coil applied to the neck; tubular footring made by folding then applied.
Description: Free blown piriform body of transparant white glass; long neck splaying towards the mouth, rim rounded; spiral coil wounded three times around the neck at narrow part above the body; concave bottom; clear pontil mark;
Condition: Intact, some small bubbles, some scratches on outside, white encrustation on the inside from the upper body towards the neck.
Remarks: Wide body with low center of gravity; spiral coil to provide a firm grip.
