72R Roman Glass Candlestick Unguentarium

H: 9.5 cm Date: 2nd-3rd C.

Remarks:The form of this bottle was widely popular throughout the Roman Empire and occurs on many sites from the end of the first century to the beginning of the fourth.  This pale aquamarine example has a wide flat mouth, long neck __with slight constriction at the junction of the wide base.  Some elongated bubbles and striations occur.  The vessel is unbroken.
